Excerpts from Mr. Venugopal's message to us dated 20.03.2009...

I am also handling one variers group network in Gujarat vis. varikoot ( varier koottukar ) in which for those of Baroda variers I have made baroda-variers. You can also be a member in varikoot for which I will be sending an invitation. It is in google groups. We do have about 18 members in Baroda, 20 members in Anand and 50 + members in Ahmedabad ( from Ahmedabad very few came forward to register their in this group)

Anyway thanks for the inclusion and expecting news worth informative in the days to come.

With warm regards.
Venugopal

Prof Dr.N.Sadasivan writes from Thiruvananthapuram....

I am Prof Dr.N.Sadasivan(id:edelweiss97a@yahoo.in).Please acknolwledge my hearty congratulations for launching a global URL.I appreciate your efforts to popularize this website. However it can have any practical use for the computer savvy and in spite of our tradition and all that ,very few of us are really good at this wonderful skill...Secondly it is costly to upload a snapshot unless it is taken digitally.
Our community problem is that we are so few in number--am told we are below 10,000 in the whole world--and so we must encourage other communities to visit out URL too.Related communities like the Ambalavasis and Nairs I think..

Love and warm regards, Dr Sadasivan.
